Discuss the buttons on the front of your coffee machine and their functions. To quickly prepare a pot of coffee, you use the “On/Off” button. For more complicated brewing and machine programming, you’ll use the other buttons.
•Identification of the “Brewing Low Cup” button, which is used to make small coffee pots. This configuration enhances the flavor of pots of beer for one to four cups.
•Note the “Hour” and “Minutes” buttons. These are used to set the clock time or set the time, the machine will start to brew a pot.
•Identification of the «Grind Off» button. There is an LED light next to the button to show when the automatic grinder is off for use with ground coffee.
• Set the clock. If the coffeemaker is new, or if power has been lost, you will need to set the clock by first holding down and then pressing the hour and minute buttons. The correct time is essential for programming the machine. Press any other button to exit time setting mode.

•Press and hold the “Program” button. A green light will flash and the display will eventually begin to flash to indicate that you have entered this mode. Enter the time you want the coffee maker to start brewing. Press the “Program” button again to exit.
• Set the shutdown time. This time can range from as soon as the coffee carafe is brewed to four hours later (the default time is two hours). To change the time, press and hold the “On/Off” button until a red light and the LCD flash, then press the “Hour” and “On Hour” buttons until the desired amount of time is entered.
•Consider the auto-grind option. If you are planning to use pre-ground coffee, be sure to set auto-grind to “OFF“. To do this, press the “Auto Grind Off” button once (the green light next to it will be active).

•Fill the water tank. Add the desired amount of water, keeping in mind your recommended grains to water ratio:.
Add beans. Put an even tablespoon of coffee beans into the grinder for each cup of coffee.
•Insert a No. 4 coffee filter. If you use ground coffee, put the ground coffee in the filter and not in the grinder. Use one tablespoon per cup of coffee, or your preferred ratio.
Tips and Warnings
- Overfilling the grinder or a water reservoir can cause hot coffee to spill. Allow a few seconds after the machine has beeped to indicate completion before removing the jar.
